AND THE WINNER IS:
I was thrilled when Angi of Cokie Pop Paper Boutique wanted to have a give away here! Her shop is amazing! I envy anyone who can do scrapbooking! But before we get the the great prize - here's Angi!
*Where are you from? Tell us a bit about yourself.
I from Terrific Texas. I am a U.S. Veteran and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. I totally support our brave men and women serving in the Armed forces.
*Do you have a blog?
I have a new blog. Please follow the blog to win more prizes from my shop.
*How did you decide on your shop name? Why did you start your business?
When I was a little girl my brother and I could never say my sister's name correctly. Nicole is a simple enough name....right? We got tired of trying and just settled on calling her "Cokie". This shop is lovingly dedicated to my sister and my brother whom I love dearly. It's all about family here! I started my shop this past April after friends and family suggested that I sell my items online.
*Which item in your shop did you enjoy making the most and why?
I love making my recipe boxes. They are so fun to make and I have new designs that I am unveiling in mid-January.
How long have you been scrapbooking?
A friend introduced me to scrapbooking 5 years ago and I have been hooked ever since.
*When did you start crafting?
I began by attending scrapbook retreats with friends. I also attend craft classes frequently and love to learn new techniques.
*What’s your supply addiction; is there a specific color or type of supply you just can’t pass up?
I love to use ribbon, chunky embellishments and designer papers.
*Is there a technique you use most?
I am now learning to make my own embellishments and greeting cards using graphic design software. It is fun to learn to use different software and technology to enhance my crafts.
*Can your items be found anywhere other than Etsy?
After January 15th I will have a shop on Artfire (artfire.com)and 1000 Markets (www.1000markets.com). Customers can feel free to search my shop there.
*Where do you craft?
Since my oldest daughter left for college I have redesigned that bedroom into my craft room. It's still a work in progress. I am watching HGTV like crazy trying to get room makeover ideas.
*What would you love to add to your crafting space?
More storage and shelving units. Plus more trendy artwork. I'm browsing Etsy all the time for cute art for the walls.
