Isis was born in Havana, Cuba but now lives in Naperville, IL and has an amazing soap shop on Etsy. Isis shop is JB Soaps. She carries many different kinds of soaps (has the cutes "thank you" soaps!) everything from glycerin, goats milk, scented, unscented - the choices are to many to list here. #1. How did you decide on your shop name? This was a project that my son had to do for school. He came home one day and said I know what the company name should be. Jabonero Blake Soap Works. J.B. Soap Work. Jabonero is spanish for someone that makes soaps. Blake is his handle in the video games, Soap Works is the work we do with soaps.

I started making soaps about 7 years ago. I wanted to do something more reative and by making soaps with different oils allows me to be creative in my own way.

I already knit, and spin yarn, I have Knitspin and have been spinning for 8 years, I love dyeing more than knitting. I love the type of combination that I can do with the colors to create something different.

My son inspires me. He comes up with these great color combination from his games. He is my greatest inspiration.

Not in the sense that you have to go to an office to work. I’m a stay at home mom, but I do have 3 Register business that I attend too. Knitspin, JBSoap and my husband’s Technology company. They are all run out of the home.

I enjoyed making my sheep soap, because I spin fiber and I love and enjoy playing with sheeps.
