I was thrilled when Viktoria contacted me about having a Give Away on my blog! Her shop ViSart is amazing!! How does she make such Beautiful jewelry and beads out of clay? I don't understand - but I sure do love to look at it and dream :) What till you see the Prize!
*Where are you from? Tell us a bit about yourself:
I was born in Ukraine (USSR), and came to Israel when I was 14 with my parent and little sister. I think I have started creating when I was 5, when my sis was born and I had less attention form my parents, I was drawing, cutting, sticking, and coloring the walls:-)
*How did you decide on your shop name?
My shop name consist of three words: Viktoria Slutsky Art - ViSart.
*Do you have a blog?
I have a blog where I am writing about my family, creation process and interesting items, artists and places www.visart-dali.blogspot.com
*Where do you craft?
I mostly create at night, when the kids are sleeping and the house is quiet. I have my tiny corner in our computer room. My husband made me some shelves in there and added a table and a lamp. I work with polymer clay (Fimo, Premo, Kato), I make my own canes, usually with flowers and leafs motives (love flowers), slice them very thin, apply to surfaces and shape pendants, beads or buttons. After this it's pretty simple - bake, sand and glaze.
*What would you love to add to your crafting space?
More storage!!!!! I never have enough of shelves and drawers, it always full of stuff I need lol, and of course more space for me to move, its a small room.
*Which item in your shop did you enjoy making the most and why?
I enjoy making all of my items, but for now I love making tiny pendants with sparkling crystals, they are like tiny treasures to me.
