InnoFresh FRIDGE IT Give Away

AND THE WINNER IS:
JENNIFER!
CONGRATULATIONS!!

Do you have a smelly fridge? What about a garbage can that smells even when it's empty? Does your vehicle smell musty? I have often had to listen to hubby "mention" that there are funny smells in the fridge or that the kitchen garbage smells, even though I just emptied it and cleaned the container. During the winter he often mentions that the truck smells musty. Are mens noses that much better than ours or do they smell things we don't because they don't have to clean them? :)

I saw Fridge-It Activated Charcoal Odor Absorbers reviewed on another blog and just had to contact them to see if they would be interested in a review/give away on my blog. They got back to me with a "YES"! Two weeks ago the package arrived. Inside were Fridge-It Activated Charcoal Odor Absorbers in the cube form and wafer form. After reading about their products on their site & reading the instructions on the packaging I put a wafer FRIDGE IT in the garbage container and 2 of the cubes in my fridge. The instructions suggest 2 in a large fridge, which I have.

A bit about InnoFresh:

Since 1992, our trusted brands have been available at popular retailers, but now also we provide our full line of activated carbon odor absorbers on line direct to consumers. Our eco-friendly, chemical free, fragrance free line of activated carbon odor absorbers are extremely effective in eliminating odors rather than cover up odors with another smell which is what most other "air fresheners" do. Unlike other products that just mask odors, our activated carbon odor absorbers actually eliminate the odors by absorbing and neutralizing - so the odor is permanently eliminated. This is also very practical for those with allergies to fragrances and also chemical sensitivities. Our activated carbon odor absorbers are available for use throughout the home with FRIDGE IT Cube and Wafer, but also for specific areas such as litter box and other small animal cages - Innofresh PET odor absorber, or in car - use Innofresh AUTO, or in smelly gym bags and lockers, etc - Innofresh SPORT.

Where ever there is odor, we can solve it. Under sinks, near trash, diaper pails, musty cabinets, basements and even really smelly dorm room closets. FRIDGE IT cube even is strong enough for "Dead Mouse Odor" which is one of the most searched odor problems. - common problem of dead mouse behind wall. And FRIDGE IT cube is great for this. All without chemicals and without fragrances that just cover up smell. Our products are all manufactured in the USA and all our components are also sourced from US suppliers. This is an important core value of mine. Also, FRIDGE IT has been featured on The Food Network - (The Food Detectives episode that showed how much better activated charcoal is than baking soda in eliminating fridge odor). Also, FRIDGE IT cube received highest ratings from NBC affiliate station in TX on "Does It Work" TV segment. These links can be found on my website as well as on Innofresh Blog. Also, check out new:60 sec tv spot featured on my blog.

We grow our own onions in the garden & they tend to be stronger than the onions you buy at the grocery store. As luck would have it, the day before the Fridge-It Activated Charcoal Odor Absorbers arrived, I had cut up an onion and only used 1/2 of it. The unused 1/2 went into a ziplock bag and into my "onion drower" in the fridge. My whole fridge smelled like onions! It was quite strong. This would be a good test for the cubes. I placed on on a shelf in the door & one in the onion drawer. After about 6 hours, when it was time to make supper, I opened the fridge for the first time since adding the cubes. I was pleasantly surprised to have no smell in the fridge! The Charcoal Odor Absorbers worked amazingly well on getting rid of the onion smell as well as any other smells that were in there. They last for up to 6 months & and wafer ones last for 4 months.

These are definitely products I would recommend to anyone with a fridge or garbage can! You can purchase these online at InnoFresh.com. They are offering a 10% discount to all my readers! Just use this coupon code BK409B during checkout!

  13. You have to promise not to laugh as it really isn't funny, but the worst odor we get in this house is when my granson comes to visit. If he takes off his shoes, well lets say he can clear a room really quickly and oh my if he is in the van with us, there is no where to go. So I would love to try the foot odor absorber for him... I understand he gets the stinky pinkies from his dad, our poor daughter what she has to live with.

  23. My nephew had a small dorm refrigerator when he was in college. After college, my sister brought it back home and put it in her garage. My other nephew went fishing and put his fresh catch in the refrigerator. A storm came through, knocking out the electricity, and the fish stayed in the refrigerator for.... months. I needed a small refrigerator and she offered me that one, but when we opened the door, the smell about knocked both of us on our knees!

our worst odor story-- our house is built into a hill, skunks got into the mud room roof (which is built into the hill) and SPRAYED!
it lasted for weeks, we had to get someone to come and get them out of the house, but even after they were gone their spray lingered on... and we couldn't even reach the source to try and clean it up...

  146. My worst household odor story just happened to me. I put my son in the bathtub one night and I walk by the bathroom and he is pouring water all over the towel that is by the bathtub. I cleaned it up with another towel. I hung the towels outside on the deck railing to dry because we were getting ready to leave to go out of town for Easter. They dried out there for a little while and then I brought them inside and put them in the washer (not running). They were still a little damp but not bad. When we returned from our trip the house smelt musty. I didn't know what it was until I opened the laundry room door and was smacked with the grossest smell ever. Yuck!

  153. Milk in the carpet. I thought my son dropped water all over the floor so we blotted it and let it dry. By morning it smelled like a dead animal in the house.

  155. I have 10 cats and most of them like to use the downstairs litterbox. One of them had a tummy ache and when I came home from work that odor hit me like a ton of bricks!

  158. the worst odor in our house....that's unfortunately a tough one...my daughter has had a few diapers that cleared an area...but i would say the worst one was at 2 in the morning i had let the dog out and she has a fascination with skunks...well, of course she was sprayed...but i didn't know it at first and had called for her she came flying into the house like her tail was on fire before i could stop her she had managed to find a nice hiding spot. i was able to follow the smell but trying to catch her was nearly impossible and i would free her from one spot only for her to wiggle free and find a new one. she managed to roll all over my son's bedding, the carpet, a futon, and under my bed. the skunk spray was literally dripping off her fur. (that was also the THIRD time she was sprayed that week)
    EWWWWWwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  175. My son wears cloth diapers and at daycare, they put the dirty diapers into a small rubbermaid tub for me to take home. When I get it home and open it up... whew! I'd love to stick one of these cubes in there!
