What is your hair type? Mine is fine, wispy and very staticy in the summer. It's also very long, goes just below my waist. So needless to say finding shampoo's and conditioner's that work with my hair has been a challenge. I've tried almost every new conditioner that has come on the market in the last 20 years. Finally a few years ago I found a shampoo/conditioner combo that worked. The shampoo I use has conditioner in it, and then I also have to use another conditioner after I've rinsed out the shampoo/conditioner. It's the only way I can get a comb through my hair, and that's after brushing all the knots out before I step into the shower.

So needless to say, trying new shampoo's and conditioner's can be a bit scary. I have visions of having to call my hairdresser because the conditioner didn't work and I can't get anything through my hair! This shampoo and conditioner is amazing! The first time I tried them - after shampooing my hair felt quite different, but I couldn't quite place what the difference was. I was actually a little worried the the conditioner wouldn't smooth out my hair and I'd have trouble with the comb, but I put conditioner in and hoped for the best. After rinsing out the conditioner, it felt like I would have trouble with the comb. My hair didn't feel like I had used conditioner at all. But I dried it and went to find my comb. I was totally amazed!! The comb went through my hair like the knots weren't even there! How could that be? It finally dawned on me how my hair felt different. The hair felt "clean"! I hadn't realized that before with the products I was using they were leaving stuff on my hair.

I used about 1/2 as much conditioner as I would have with my usual product with the first shower. But since then I've been using about 1/4 - 1/3 of what I would normally have used and it still works amazing!! Also noticed that it doesn't take quite as long for my hair to dry using the Shaw Treatment products and my hair isn't frizzy and full of static once it's dry. I have no idea how it works - don't care. I will never go back to my original shampoo/conditioners! The scent is also really wonderful. It almost smells like a Pina Colada :) Yum!
